109.99- SHO 3.0L-3.2L
DIS Ignition module Made in USA (Echlin,
Standard, Borg-Warner) 39.99-
Good Used SHO 3.0L-3.2L DIS Ignition module Thoroughly examined and tested to be in good, fully functional condition. Original OEM Ford part Due to the ease of installation
and relatively high cost, we would recommend replacement only when necessary and not simply as a preventative
measure during the 60K/100K service. Many supposed DIS module
failures are simply insufficient grounding. Be sure that your existing module is properly grounded through it's
mounting bolts, and also be sure that the intake manifold end tank/crossover tank is also properly grounded through
it's two mounting bolts. The DIS module should have a thin layer of heat-sink paste on the back.
Typical symptoms of failure can include misfiring, stalling, and rough running,
but of course these can also be caused by other issues. Usually a trouble code will be set during failure,
causing the "check engine" light to come on. If you're troubleshooting a driveability issue, always
start by checking and diagnosing the stored diagnostic trouble codes. "The
ICM (ignition control module) receives the CKP signal from the crankshaft position sensor, the CMP signal from the camshaft
position sensor, and the SPOUT (spark out) signal from the PCM (computer). During normal operation, CKP is
sent to the PCM from the crankshaft timing sensor and provides base timing and RPM information. The CMP signal provides
the ICM with the information required to synchronize the ignition coils so that they are fired in the proper sequence. The SPOUT signal contains the optimum spark timing and dwell time information. The spark angle is determined by the
rising edge of SPOUT; this is when coil current "turns off" and spark occurs. The dwell time is controlled
by varying the duty cycle (duration) of the SPOUT signal. Current flows in a coil (dwell) when SPOUT is
"low". This feature is called computer controlled dwell (CCD).
With the proper
inputs of CKP, CMP, and SPOUT, the ICM turns the ignition coils on and off in the proper sequence for spark control."

69.99- SHO 3.0L-3.2L ACCEL Super Coil pack Engineered for faster rise time and longer spark duration. Produces 15% more spark energy for increased performance! Highly specialized silicone magnetic steel core Optimized windings Brass secondary contacts High temperature
epoxy resists shock and vibration Made in China (unfortunately), but of course to Accel standards (a Mr. Gasket company.)

"The ignition coil pack contains three separate ignition coils which are controlled
by the ignition control module (ICM) through three coil leads. Each ignition coil fires two spark plugs simultaneously,
one spark on the compression stroke and one on the exhaust stroke. The spark plug fired on the exhaust stroke
uses very little of the ignition coil stored energy. Since these two spark plugs are connected in series,
the firing voltage of one will be negative with respect to ground, while the other will be positive with respect to
ground."

82.99- SHO 3.0L-3.2L Crankshaft position sensor Made in USA (Echlin, Standard, Borg-Warner/BWD) Typical symptoms of failure can include bucking and stalling with a
no-start condition (indefinitely, or will sometimes restart and run normally after 30-90min), loss of tach signal,
etc. but of course these can also be caused by other issues. Usually a trouble code will be set during failure,
causing the "check engine" light to come on. If you're troubleshooting a driveability issue, always
start by checking and diagnosing the trouble codes. "The crankshaft position sensor is a single Hall-effect magnetic switch, which is activated by three
vanes on the crankshaft timing pulley. The signal generated by this sensor is called "PIP" (profile
ignition pickup), also "CKP" (crankshaft position). The PIP/CKP signal provides base timing and RPM
information to the DIS module and the EEC4 module. Base timing is set at10 degrees BTDC (before top dead center) and
is not adjustable"

28.99- SHO 3.0L-3.2L Camshaft position sensor (Echlin, Standard, Borg-Warner/BWD) Typical symptoms of failure can include misfiring, bucking and stalling or a no-start condition (sometimes will
restart after 2-3 tries as the PCM searches for correct timing), but of course these can also be caused by other issues.
Usually a trouble code will be set during failure, causing the "check engine" light to come on. If you're
troubleshooting a driveability issue, always start by checking and diagnosing the trouble codes. "The camshaft position sensor is a single Hall-effect
magnetic switch, which is activated by a single vane driven by the rear exhaust camshaft. This sensor provides cylinder
identification (CID) information for ignition coil and fuel synchronization."

79.99- SHO 3.0L-3.2L Knock sensor Made in USA (Echlin, Standard, Borg-Warner/BWD) Discontinued-
only (2) remaining in stock Typical symptoms of failure
can include pre-ignition/detonation (pinging/knocking) under part-throttle or full-throttle conditions, but of
course this can also be caused by other issues (poor fuel quality, excessively lean fuel/air mixture, carbon buildup
in combustion chamber, overheating, etc.). Usually a trouble code will be set during failure, causing the
"check engine" light to come on. If you are troubleshooting a driveability issue, always start by checking
and diagnosing the trouble codes.
