Shipping, Cores, Warranty, Return Requirements

We maintain an extensive parts inventory and can usually ship your order immediately, but we do occasionally sell out of an item before our next shipment arrives, and some lower-volume parts are currently special-order (generally 2-7 business days, please inquire before ordering).
Within 24hrs of receiving your order notification, we've either already shipped (if all parts are in stock) or we've placed an order with the manufacturer/supplier and will ship out immediately upon receiving it here.

Some used parts can take time to pull, clean, test, and package. Not all parts cars are fully disassembled when they arrive, so some parts may still be installed on parts cars in storage Please be patient. If you need your order by a certain date, please let us know before placing your order so we can discuss your options.

Most smaller orders are sent by USPS Priority Mail, and most larger/heavier orders are shipped via FedEx/UPS Ground unless other methods are specifically requested.

If you have a larger order (more than 2-3 items), please ask us to email an itemized invoice to you with a combined shipping/handling cost BEFORE you place your order...we cannot take the time to sort through our order history to adjust your shipping/handling costs later.

Shipping/handling costs listed at checkout are for 48-state US only!

We currently also ship to Alaska, Hawaii, US military bases, Canada, Puerto Rico, and also some other countries under certain circumstances.

Please ask for a shipping quote and invoice before placing your order!
You are responsible for paying all required taxes, duties, broker fees etc. that will be due within your country upon or before receiving delivery!

All US shipments will have tracking or delivery confirmation numbers.

Orders over $200. will have signature required.

Certain other orders (such as those being shipped to an apartment number, or to a shop working on your vehicle, or to another third party) may also require your signature.

Generally, up to (3) delivery attempts are made when there is a signature required, and then the package is returned to us.

We are charged for unsuccessful delivery attempts.

If your order is returned here due either to an inability to obtain your signature for delivery or an incorrect address being provided to us, we will either refund (less original shipping/handling costs and restocking fees) or ship your order again at the additional cost of the second shipment.

We reserve the right to cancel orders from unverified and/or non-US accounts.

We reserve the right to refuse shipment to unconfirmed addresses.

ORDERING & PAYMENTS:

Please be sure to tell us the year, engine and trans type of your SHO!

Our site cart checkout is through Paypal, and you can use any major credit card or eCheck (bank transfer) payment through Paypal, or use an existing balance in your Paypal account.
Paypal offers excellent buyer and seller protection over and above that provided by your credit card issuer. Paypal is an Ebay owned company.

Credit card and Paypal account balance payments are posted immediately.
If you pay by eCheck (bank transfer through Paypal), your payment cannot be posted to our account until it has been processed/cleared from your bank through Paypal, which is generally 3-4 business days.
We are instructed by Paypal not to ship orders until eCheck payments clear.
In other words, a failed eCheck (bank transfer) payment is considered a cancelled transaction and for that reason an order is not considered to be paid until funds have cleared and been posted to our account.
At any time before an eCheck payment clears, it can be cancelled by the sender or it can fail due to insufficient funds in the bank account. In an effort to reduce losses due to this type of fraud, we will adhere to Paypal's recommendation to hold eCheck shipments until they have been cleared.
If you use a credit card through Paypal, or if you pay directly from a balance in your Paypal account, there will be no delay in processing and posting payment and no resulting hold on the shipment.

PLEASE UPDATE YOUR PAYPAL EMAIL ADDRESS or you will not receive emailed shipping notifications.

PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS MATCHES YOUR PAYMENT FUNDING SOURCE BILLING ADDRESS.

MAILING PAYMENTS:
If you prefer to mail your payment, we do accept USPS money orders only. Postal money orders are available at any US post office for only $1.05, and are the safest way to mail payments.

Just ask us to email an invoice to you that you can print it out and mail it in with your payment.

CORES:

All cores must be received within 45 days of your order delivery date.

Cores must be well packaged, and must be shipped with tracking.

Cores must be clean and dry, exactly as complete/incomplete as the remanufactured part you received, and must be rebuildable with no damage to major "hard parts".
(NO stripped threads, no broken-off/missing fasteners, no cracks/breakage/warpage, no severe rust/corrosion, no fire damage, etc.).

No credit can be given for incomplete or non-rebuildable cores.

No credit can be given for cores received more than 45 days after order delivery date.

Shipping/handling is not refundable.

SHO 3.0L-3.2L water pump cores- $8./each!
SHO MTX flywheel cores- $25./each!
SHO steering rack cores- $25./each!

Flywheel cores- starter ring gear teeth must be fully intact. No credit will be given for flywheels that are cracked, damaged, badly scored, rusty, or that have worn/damaged/missing ring gear teeth.

Flywheels, water pumps, starters, alternators, and other small, heavy, core parts are best shipped back to us in a flat-rate USPS Priority Mail box- only $8.95 or $12.95 +tracking to ship as many as you can fit into the box, up to 70 pounds!

RETURNS:

All returns must be pre-approved.

We photograph contents and record exact weights of most new parts shipments

We closely examine/test used parts before shipping, and we photograph/mark outgoing used parts.

All non-defective returned new/remanufactured parts must be in absolutely new condition in clean original packaging (as you received them).
They must still be new and able to be resold as new, or we cannot accept their return.

If you've used/installed the part, attempted to install the part, painted/coated or otherwise modified the part in any way, it cannot be returned except in the unlikely event of a manufacturing/material defect.

NO returns on:
Service manuals, CDs, DVDs, or videos
Service tools or equipment
Engine bearings

Piston rings

Gaskets or Seals

Electrical or Electronic parts

No returns on electrical or electronic parts.

Electrical system issues can easily destroy any connected parts.

If you are troubleshooting with the time-honored "throw parts at it" approach,

ask us for a much cheaper used part to test with before (or instead of) buying new.

No returns after 30 days from date of purchase.

All returns must be well packaged and shipped with online tracking.

Your return must arrive fully intact and in new condition.
Shipping/handling on correct, non-defective orders is not refundable, and return shipping cost is not refundable.

10% restocking fee on non-defective in-stock new part returns.

10% fee on buyer-cancelled orders.

15% restocking fee on non-defective special-order new part returns.

Please try to be sure that you need the parts before you order them.

Please double-check your order list before submitting!

Reducing time spent on returns enables us to keep prices LOW!

WARRANTY:

Most new and remanufactured parts carry a manufacturer's (or rebuilder's) limited warranty covering manufacturing/material defects for varying duration, limited to exchange/replacement of the part itself or a refund in the amount of the price originally paid for the part itself.
Please ask us for specific manufacturer's/rebuilder's warranty details and durations on specific parts.
No other warranty is expressed or implied.
There will be no refunds or compensation for installation labor, expenses, damages, repairs, injuries, or any other costs or damages or losses whatsoever resulting from a part failing during it's warranty period or afterward.
